Cocklakes Fly Fishery is a family owned and operated business, situated in the beautiful Lake District National Park. We pride ourselves on giving fly fishermen and women an experience that exceeds expectations on all levels. Our fish are naturally fed and are of a good weight and excellent health.

We ensure that the waters of our 3 acre lake are well maintained whilst remaining natural and unspoiled for you to enjoy.

Why not use our luxury self catering studio as a base to fish the Lake District. 6 Lakes, Mere's and Waters all within 15 miles. Guided fishing trips catered for.

At Lakeside we have our Farm Shop where you can buy goodies to take out with you that will ensure a hearty lunch or dinner to keep you going through the day.

We can also offer Corporate and Group events that are fun and can be used for team building and can also be very competitive as to who can catch the most and biggest fish! Great fun for staff, visitors, families and friends. We have a wealth of experience here at Cocklakes that will ensure you get the most from your event.

Fly Fishing Lessons

If you are new to fishing or fancy something fun as a family day out then Eric is our resident expert and can teach you all the basics to get you up and running with as least tangle as possible! Learning to Fly fish can be fun for individuals or groups and is also a great way to unwind, relax and get away from it all for a few hours too.
